STEWARDS OF CHILDREN
Stewards of Children is a 2-hour training program focused on improving the awareness of the prevalence, consequences, and circumstances of child sexual abuse (CSA). This unique approach features a combination of survivor stories, expert advice, and practical guidance to educate adults about child sexual abuse prevention and intervention. Stewards of Children aims to educate adults in all fields, and is recommended for child care professionals in particular.
Participants are taught 5 basic principles for protecting children from potentially abusive situations, giving them simple and practical actions for preventing abuse and intervening if abuse is suspected.
“One person can make a difference in a child’s life. But when a community comes together, we can create a new cultural norm that nurtures children and protects them from child sexual abuse.”
